Web3 authentication
ComPilot KYB may require Web3 signatures. During the KYB process, the customer's Web3 wallet address is automatically recorded, and connected with the customers real-world identity. In other words, the customer proves their identity and their ownership of the wallet. ComPilot then issues VCs to the customer that they can reuse with the same wallet.
ComPilot KYB can work with various blockchains, and developers can use Web3 libraries for the chain on which they are deployed, so that customers can sign transactions using their wallets.
Supported blockchains
The following blockchains are supported.
- All EVM chains (such as Ethereum, and Base)
- Aptos
- Cardano
- Cosmos
- Polkadot
- Solana
- Starknet
- Tezos
For examples of how to use these blockchains, see Initialization.
ComPilot adds support for additional blockchains on a regular basis. If the chain you want to use is not in the above list, ComPilot will try to accommodate your needs. Please contact ComPilot for more information.
